SMS Text Message Consent

By providing your phone number to Vemra, you expressly consent to receive the following types of SMS text messages:

  • Website demo notifications: A text message with a link to the professional website generated for your business.
  • Lead notifications: SMS alerts when new leads, customer inquiries, and business opportunities are captured through your website or AI phone receptionist.
  • Follow-up messages: Text messages following up on phone conversations, including links and next steps.
  • Service updates: Important account and service information related to your Vemra subscription.

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Vemra. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Your consent is not a condition of purchase.

1. How Consent Is Obtained

Website Opt-In Form

When you enter your phone number on Vemra (during signup, in your account settings, or on a contact form), you will see the following consent disclosure clearly displayed:

“By providing your phone number, I agree to receive SMS text messages from Vemra including website notifications, lead alerts, and follow-up messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help.”

Dashboard Settings Opt-In

Registered users explicitly opt in to SMS lead notifications through a clearly labeled toggle in their account settings. The consent timestamp, IP address, and exact disclosure text are recorded for compliance purposes.

Verbal Consent During Phone Calls

Our AI phone assistant may ask prospects if they would like to receive a text message. The assistant uses the following script:

“I'm calling from Vemra. We built a free professional website for your business. Can I send you the link? ... Great! By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Vemra including your website link and follow-up messages. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out.”

The prospect must verbally confirm before any SMS is sent. All calls are recorded and transcribed by Retell AI, providing auditable proof of verbal consent with timestamp, phone number, and full transcript.

2. Types of SMS Messages

  • Website demo links: A text message containing a link to view the website generated for your business.
  • Lead notifications: SMS alerts when new customers contact you through your website, chatbot, or AI phone receptionist.
  • Follow-up messages: Post-call follow-ups with website links and next steps.
  • Account alerts: Important service updates about your Vemra subscription.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with Vemra:

  • Website demo: 1-2 messages total.
  • Lead notifications: Varies based on lead volume (one SMS per new lead).
  • Follow-ups: 1-3 messages following a phone conversation.

4. How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving SMS text messages at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any SMS text message.
  • Visiting your account settings and disabling SMS notifications.
  • Contacting us at support@vemra.ai.

After replying STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message: “You have been unsubscribed from Vemra SMS messages. You will not receive any further messages. Reply START to re-subscribe.”

5. How to Get Help

Reply HELPto any SMS message for assistance. You will receive: “Vemra SMS Help: For support, visit vemra.ai or email support@vemra.ai. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg & data rates may apply.”

6. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply to any SMS text messages sent or received. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan.

7. Supported Carriers

SMS messaging is supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy
